This incredible journey will take the travellers from Amdo, the northern most part of the Tibetan plateau on the amazing new 1,194km Roof of the World railway dubbed 'Sky Train' from the across the Tibetan Plateau to the capital of Tibet, Lhasa - Abode of the Gods with its ancient monasteries and temples and the amazing Potala, the seat of the Dalai Lama's. The journey continues overland southeast then circling to head northeast to the heart land of the famed Tibetan Warrior Nomads - the Khampas. This stunning route crosses several 4,000 m passes, winding through lush green alpine valleys and gushing gorges. You will feel the grandeur of the limitless horizons, breath-taking peaks and hidden monasteries, where the people of Tibet are as beautiful and proud as history has painted them. This is the most unsurpassed scenic and dramatic route to cross from Amdo in Northwest Tibet to Lhasa in Central Tibet to finish in Kham, Eastern Tibet.
